The latest edition of the EICMA international motorcycle exhibition welcomed 628,000 people

The latest edition of the EICMA international motorcycle exhibition show in Milan attracted more than 628,000 visitors between the 6 and 9 November. Compared with the previous year, this represents a 14.7% increase (the 2013 EICMA edition had already seen an increase of 8% compared to the 2012 edition).

Compared with the previous year, this represents a 14.7% increase (the 2013 EICMA edition had already seen an increase of 8% compared to the 2012 edition).

The event, which also market the 100th anniversary of EICMA, was also attended by several public officials including the Minister of infrastructures and Transportation, Maurizio Lupi; the Minister of Economic Development, Federica Guidi; the Undersecretary to the Ministry of Economic Development, Simona Vicari; the President of Confindustria, Giorgio Squinzi; and the President of BusinessEurope, the alliance of European business associations, Emma Marcegaglia. 

Commenting on the exhibition, Mr Antonello Montante, Chairman of EICMA S.p.A., said “Before the end of the year we shall present a revolutionary insurance project and we are certain we can count on the support of the government to put a limit to a situation that has spiralled out of control. The industry has shown what it can do in terms of products, components and accessories, confirming its profound commitment to research & development for an industry at the forefront of progress”.
