Motorcycle registrations in the largest EU markets – France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK – grew by 8.1% during Q1 2016, compared to the first quarter of 2015, reaching more than 170,400 units.
The strongest performance was recorded in Italy (+23.9%, 44,573 units), followed by Spain (15.5%, 28,528 units).
The UK market grew by 8.5% (25,519 units), whilst registrations remained stable in France (+0.8%, 33,732 units) and decreased in Germany (-4.8%, 38,115 units).
